Our Promises to our Residential Customers
By booking our window cleaning services you accept these terms & conditions – we have tried to keep them as clear and pain-free as possible!
Book Us In!
Our main costs are transparent and detailed on our website. Should you have an unusually large or complicated building, please contact us to arrange for us to visit you and provide a bespoke quote. We will endeavor to first clean your property when you are home, so that we can evaluate the property, your requirements, our access and safety. On the rare occasion that we visit your property for the first clean and find discrepancies from the original quoted agreement we will contact you to discuss a revised agreement.
All costs are inclusive of VAT at the standard rate unless specified otherwise.
Your Cleaning Days!
We will clean your windows every 4-6 weeks. We will text you the evening before to let you know we are coming and ask you to leave us access and close all your windows.
If we arrive and access has not been left for us, or windows have been left open, we will clean the windows we can access and invoice you accordingly – ie. if we cannot get into your back garden, we will clean the front and charge 50% of your normal clean. Please contact us if you wish us to return another day to clean the areas we couldn’t access – we will try our best to fit this in as soon as possible. Please note, we are unable to move any obstructions. When cleaning inside windows, please ensure every window is accessible without obstruction and window sills are cleared. Internal windows will be washed using the traditional method.
We will endeavor to clean all windows and our high reach pole system allows us to reach most, but if a window is inaccessible or it would be unsafe to reach it, we will not clean this window and will adjust our fee accordingly. We will also contact you to let you know if we were unable to clean all your windows and our required notice period will not apply if you wish to use another service provider instead. The outstanding invoice remains payable.
Our pure water system allows us to operate all year round in most weather conditions. As we tell you the day before we are coming, we will have checked the weather, so you won’t be let down. On rare occasions something may unexpectedly happen on the day which means we can’t get to you. We will contact you to let you know and you will be our next priority customer.
We Missed a Spot!
In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your clean please contact us the same or next day. We will re-clean as soon as we can, for free. Please note, this does not apply to the first 3 cleans, as it can take time for longstanding dirt and/or previous cleaning products to be completely washed clear. If however you would like us to come again sooner in order to complete these 3 cleans quickly to bring them up to their best condition, just ask!
Please note, all surfaces washed with pure water are left to dry naturally to achieve a spot and streak-free finish – don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten anything if you are home and can see wet glass!
No Damage Worries!
We are fully insured with comprehensive public liability insurance should anything go wrong. Our brushes are not capable of scratching windows and our pole reach system means that we shouldn’t need to be putting ladders against your property. We use a water-fed pole backpack should we need to access the back of your property by coming inside, so we won’t be dragging hoses through your house and risking them splitting and causing water damage. However if you feel we have caused any damage, please contact us ASAP.
We are unable to accept liability for damage caused by existing decorative or structural defects – for example, ill-fitting windows and doors, damaged fascias and guttering, leaking seals, rotting frames or flaking paint etc.
We don’t leave little brown envelopes and we don’t knock on your door in the evenings to collect your payment! If you are in on the day, you are welcome to pay us there and then with cash or contactless, otherwise we will invoice you following your clean and you can either pay easily online through the link on the invoice, or ask us for bank details so you can arrange a bank transfer. Please use your house number and road name as the Reference when making payment by bank transfer.
Our payment terms are 7 days from the date of the invoice and we may send you a reminder to pay as you approach your deadline. If payment hasn’t been received after 7 days your account and services may be suspended until all arrears are received. After 14 days a late payment charge of £2 will be added to your account to cover administrative costs in settling your account.
We will occasionally run promotional schemes through our Facebook page or Email where you can earn free or discounted cleans.
Your free clean will occur after your next scheduled clean which will be invoiced as normal. We reserve the right to amend or terminate any promotional scheme at any time without notice, but we will honour already earned free cleans.
If you wish to discontinue our services, we require 4 weeks notice but will be sad to see you go. Please speak to us first if you have any concerns that we may be able to address to keep you as a loyal customer.
Should you cancel after your first clean, we will invoice you again the same amount of that clean, as one-off cleans are double our standard price.
In very rare circumstances we may decide we need to terminate your cleaning account. We will do this on the same day as your most recent clean, so that you have plenty of time to find someone else. All outstanding invoices remain payable.
We retain certain data from customers such as Name, Address and Contact Details. This information is held securely and will not be shared with or sold to any third parties. This information is held under GDPR’s lawful basis of Legitimate Interests when responding to enquiries you have made about our services, and then Contractual Consent when you engage our services. You have the right to see what data we have collected about you and you have the right to request removal of this data by emailing us with your request. We will not use your data following the termination of our services and will not hold it for any longer than is reasonably necessary.
We may on occasion take photos of your property and windows for social media and marketing purposes. We will never identify the property using an address or customer name. Please advise us if you do not wish your property to be photographed.
We retain your email address in order to send you invoices and receipts. We will also email you from time to time with details of new services, incentives and offers. You have the right to unsubscribe from these emails by emailing us with your request.
The Boring Legal Bit!
All disputes are covered by English Law and under the jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales only.
A copy of these Terms and Conditions is available on request and you are reminded of our T&C's on this website on each invoice.
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
